Update-Summer Camps and Classes

Fencers and PFC Families:

As the summer weather and the end of the school year are approaching, we have been looking at our camps and classes schedule: Following the State and City guidelines, we decided to cancel our June and July summer camps. We remain committed to providing lesson plans via emails and virtual training via zoom during those two months.

In addition, aligned with CDC restrictions and recommendations, we may offer a small group indoor and outdoor classes – please check weekly newsletter emails for information. Unfortunately we don’t have more detailed information at the moment, but we are working on plans and will be adjusting as the situation in Allegheny county moves forward.

We appreciate your support and looking forward to seeing you on-line or in person soon.

Stay safe and active!

Pandemic temporarily closure:

Due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) we will be Closing the club for 2 weeks –

starting 3/15 through 3/28, to limit the spread of the disease. Currently the plan is to re-open on 3/30.

We will be monitoring the situation as it progresses and will follow any recommended guidelines, so these plans may change. Thank you for your understanding.

While we are all on “social distance” break, there are still SO many things fencers can do:

Practice Footwork, do the Strength exercises, Wash your fencing Suites, clean your masks, watch fencing on youtube, read about it, visualize your bouts… and the most important-Stay Healthy…

Keep Washing your Hands and as in any bout -Keep the safe Distance !
